Given the display and external port issues from day 1, the best course is to have the unit professionally assessed under warranty. You can either:

• Return it to the retailer where it was purchased, or
• Submit a Repair‑under‑Warranty request via Acer’s support site and wait for the shipping instructions by e‑mail.
