I recently bought a Predator Orion 7000 desktop with an I7-12700k and a RTX 3080. It had a clean installation of windows 11 on it and I have been trying to get the Predator Sense software installed to control the RGB because currently it's just flashing and driving me nuts.

I installed the serial detection software, verified the model is a Predator PO7-640 and downloaded the Predator Sense listed on the drivers page. After unzipping it I tried to install with the setup.exe in the folder and it just says "sorry this computer is not supported"

After more searching I found a post saying it needs to be installed with the appxbundle file in the PredatorSenseUWP folder. I installed it and it completed but the app will not open at all and that's where I'm stuck, I've tried uninstalling reinstalling, safe mode, everything and the Predator Sense app just doesn't work. What am I missing?

Finally found the solution to this myself, so I'll leave it here for the next person trying to get this garbage installed.

    1. First you need to download the Predator Sense software on the P07-640 Drivers page and unpack it in your downloads folder. In mu case it was the 3.00.3050 version.
    2. Go to the PredatorSenseUWP folder in the main directory and install every APPX file in there, some won't be compatible but try installing them all anyways.
    3. Back in the main directory open the plugs folder and install the SSCERuntime.exe
    4. "IF" everything installed then finally go to the main directory and run the Setup application and it should actually run now and not give the stupid "sorry this computer is not supported" error and actually install.
    5. Run the Predator Sense app and enjoy working case lighting

*It may also need additional windows components such as C++ runtimes etc., also make sure Windows 11 is fully updated and the Bios is the newest R01-B0 version.

    * I am not sure if this made any difference but in the main directory there is the plugs folder, then in that folder there is one labeled 0000000000, inside it is a bunch of different system models, I renamed the "Predator PO7-640 folder to PO7-640-UR11 which is what it shows as my system model in the bios.

If your PredatorSense software has been removed or is not working, You can download and install the latest version from our download support site using the instructions below.

    2. Enter your device Serial NumberSNID or Model number to identify your device. Acer Download Site Product Selection.png
    3. Click on the Application tab, then click the Download link next to PredatorSense. PredatorSense Software Download.png

    4. Locate the file you downloaded and right-click the file and select Extract.

    Extract PredatorSense Software.png

That is what I already have tried, the version of Predator Sense it had listed for my model will not install when I try to run the setup.exe in the unpacked folder. It just says:

"Sorry this computer is not supported"

Have you tried the below step

To install PredatorSense on your Acer Predator P07-640 desktop, you'll first need to access the Acer App Center on your computer, as it's the central location for managing installed software. From there, you can locate and install PredatorSense, which is the utility app for controlling various aspects of your gaming rig like temperature monitoring, overclocking, RGB customization, and more.

Click on 'Yes' if the comment answers your question!

Ok how do I get the app center? That link just goes to the default Predator sense overview page with no download options I can see. To me it looks like the Acer App center is part of Predator Sense. Doing a search just leads me to Acer care center which I have installed but gives just basic system information and no options to install the Predator Sense Software. I read through many more posts looking for an answer and found one mentioning the "sorry this computer is not supported" error message is related to the product name in the system bios not matching the "Predator P07-640" folder in the plugs folder in the Predator sense install folder. Several posts mentioned needing a program called DMItools to change the actual names in the bios, but I haven't found more information on how to get that program or what to do exactly with it. This seems insanely complicated to install a basic utility program.
