Re: ANV15-51 Acer software installed automatically after windows update, how to remove?
Leave your Nitro ANV15-51 with Win-11 version 24H2 Home and update it to the last OS build: 6100.4652 and make sure that it operates properly before updating it to the Enterprise edition, as the Win-11 Home version is the version that Acer installed on this laptop initially and your ANV15-51 has a digital key embedded in its bios.
Do NOT install Win-10 on this laptop as Acer designed the Nitro ANV15-51 model with Win-11 OS and also Microsoft is ending all support for Win-10 in November 2025 and all security updates also. If you install the Microsoft version it will not have the Acer Win-11 version and it will have the oem programs. Don't worry about whatever you consider junk, as its never used and it does not affect the operation of Win-11 or your ANV15-51 laptop in any way.

Re: Can I upgrade the Pentium B960 in my Packard Bell EasyNote LV ENLV44HC?
Hello everyone! I installed the processor i5-2540M. It works normally.
Re: Can I upgrade the Pentium B960 in my Packard Bell EasyNote LV ENLV44HC?
Hi! Good news—your Pentium B960 (SR07V) is socketed, not soldered. It uses the Socket G2 (rPGA988B), so you can upgrade it as long as you choose a compatible CPU and stay within the system’s power and chipset limits.
✅ Compatible upgrades include:
- Core i3-2xxxM or i5-2xxxM (great budget-friendly options)
- Core i7-2xxxM (like the i7-2620M) or even up to i7-3632QM, depending on your cooling and chipset
- Stay within the 35W TDP range to avoid thermal issues
⚠️ Before upgrading:
- Check your motherboard chipset (likely HM70, HM75, or HM77)—HM70 might reject newer CPUs like the 3rd Gen i7 after 30 minutes
- Update to the latest BIOS version if available on Acer’s or Packard Bell’s site
- Use a quality thermal paste and clean the heatsink during installation
You’ll see a noticeable bump in performance with a Core i5 or i7. Just remember that BIOS support and thermal design can be limiting factors for quad-core chips.

Re: No display only shows white
Pay attention to the hinges and the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard, as these areas can be prone to damage or loose connections.
