Yeah, sadly 2004 produces some weird driver issues. With 2004 I my soundchip on the Helios 700 does not regocnized anymore. If you recently updated windopws, OP, would you try a rollback to see if your wifi card works properly again?

Don't want to sound rude, but it has nothing to do with my topic besides that you want to uninstall Predator Sense. Better had openend an own topic for that. I also have no solution for your issue.

Go to your laptops support page, look for the newest version of PS there. Sadly they still miss basic features like a proper fan control and being able to adjust my CPU overclocking :(

When I updated it on my helios 700 my sound chip was not recognized anymore and I did not have sound. No workaround. Just rollback. Cannot recommend the update, your milage may vary.

Noone knows. And tying the keyboard illumination post launch to the crappy PS software makes it really hard to get rid of that ***** in order to just use Afterburner and Throttlestop to ACTUALLY optimize the laptop.

They might have used thermal paste wrongly on CPU, either too thick or not covering it completely. Had this with my old laptop, where the GPU throttled immediately. IIRC under 90 degrees Celcius should be fine for that card. I can not tell you how the temps for CPU, though- you never told us which one you run ;)

My tip would also be to run a diagnostics programm in the background to check temps. Also, you can monitor temps and frequencies ingame with MSI Afterburner. If the fps drops go along with a huge drop in GPU or CPU frequency and we know the temperature then it narrows the reasons down and helps analyse the issue. Can you…
