How to Tell if Your Computer Has an AI Processor

Some Acer computer use a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in addition to the typical Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The NPU is used specifically for accelerating AI tasks. By freeing up the CPU and GPU, the NPU allows you to work more efficiently and effectively with AI. You can use the instructions below to check your task manager to see if your model includes an NPU.

Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys at the same time to open Task Manager.
Click on the Performance icon on the left.
Check to see if an NPU is listed to tell if your computer has an AI processor.
