UPDATE: I did replace the old battery due to it's failure. It would not charge. I learned from the Acer website that a replacement battery must be "conditioned". Have you changed your BIOS setting to or from "Legacy" lately. You may be using the wrong setting. When you receive that message, you can reach the BIOS settings by inserting a fresh installation disk or USB and then pressing F2 during startup. (Windows 10)

Yes. You can upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro with no problem. I run an E5-471G-56YK and upgraded to Pro after my purchase and I have had no problems.
