hey u r Malaysian right? what is ur panel on device manager? is it CMN1521 like mine? the laptop is listed as 72% NTSC, yet acer Malaysia scammed us by giving bad panel..
-
I think Acer intentionally put bad screen in SEA units, cos they thought we are stupid... Mine has CMN1521 which has 45% NTSC, although they listed it as 72% NTSC. I emailed Acer Malaysia and they still didn't reply to my email.. I would never buy Acer product ever again.

acer released bios 1.08 to remove the positive offset value, but the undervolting are still locked. btw, if the readers r wondering if the bios fixed the fan issue, I dont know the answer.
-
acer launched bios 1.08 which removes that positive offset value. but I did downgrade to bios 1.06 cos I love my undervolting.
-
yup. they overvolted the CPU by 0.05V. I learned a lesson. Don't buy Acer products. They are *****. Acer never listen to their customers, instead they produce same junks every year.
-
so, u have same issue as well?
-
have anyone tried the bios 1.07 and check whether if it solves the issue?
-
u mentioned that u updated the bios right? so your bios is now 1.07?
-
if u change back to original power plan, would ghe fans ramp up though?
-
does anyone manage to fix the issue where the fans ramp up while charging on low battery?
-
yeah, but what version? mine is windows 10 2004. u can check on "About This PC" by searching it on the search bar. pls help me bro
-
that's only available if i use my own power plan. with ur plan, i cannot see that. btw what windows version are u using currently?
-
lol the thing is, after reaching 90%, even if the laptop reaches 55 C, the fans would not ramp up. during charging, the cpu is below 45 C and the fans still ramp up to 3750 rpm constantly. everybody who have this laptop have the same issue. i booted up to safe mode and the issue still persist. so, i do think it is a bios…

anybody manage to fix this? help me

wdym by "How are you determinig what power setting you are using during charging?"
-
There's no slider to change power mode if I use ur battery plan..
-
nah, for your power settings, there is no option to change. only battery saver button available, but u cannot turn that on during charging.
-
tried ur power settings, no luck bro.
-
there is no actual way to solve this I guess.
-
i open nothing. i used better battery while charging and the issue still persist. do u install intel dynamic platform driver from acer's website? or any other driver from there?
