Its no issue my warranty ended like a year ago and now im happy with this modded bios its just that I still didnt find the acer dust defender , I dont know where it is.

apparently u can even control memory timings and what the highest memory speed u can equip , i changed my ram timings from 15-15-15-36 to 14-14-14-34, do u guys think this will benefit me ?

still didnt work but now i have unblocked the bios and now in the advanced features its amazing what u can find inside its the real deal but still didnt find acer dust defender anywhere.

It cannot be disabled in quick access u can only select clean now.

So I have just updated the bios to 1.07 , and the value in reg file is still 0 and I have deleted the dust defender folder in acer access i will test when I come back from work.

Im thinking of trying the latest bios but I dont want a drop in performance , it might be coz im using the oldest bios ? Could this be it ? I wanna see the change log for the bioses but couldnt find any.

thats what it says but it doesnt really happen , when i use my laptop i use max fan mode when i play a game and reach over 3 hours the stop and do the dust defender thingy for 30seconds to a minute then they return back to normal what they say on that page is not true at all no matter what game i play it does happen…

Is there a modified bios ? Never heard of it for this model 

No both stop spinning for about 30seconds to 1minute.

Its acer predator 17 x Gx-792 and no cant disable it in the bios there is no option for it

So I have tried this and it didnt work :( yes it turned it off in the acer access but it still worked when I was playing a game for over 3 hours.

its simple dude, dont use predatorsense turbo mode or faster mode coz they both SUCK , I created my own overclocking mode my cpu 4.4ghz and it doesnt even reach 80c , but when i used the crappy turbo mode on predatorsense the heat went up to 97c , DO NOT USE FASTER OR TURBO MODE IN PREDATORSENSE, plus u need to turn on max…
