which bios version? by pressing control S in bios, touch pad option will appear. you can use that to switch drivers.alternatively just download touchpad drivers in acer website.

@aphanic is it a possibility that the battery is not calibrated properly? I used the power config report which windows provides. I usually use the laptop on ac power. Do you think if I calibrate it, the value will be more accurate?

@thedude404 yes Acer has messed up this laptop big time. The bios is not configured properly. So many hardware issues. I don't know what to say. However regarding the problem, the EC fan I think is not configured properly.To fix it I think you have to reset the fan. Follow the below video to reset the fan.…

@BipinSh I used to get the blue screen but with the error: unexpected_store_exception. It then used to show bootable device not found.I have the same laptop Acer aspire a515-43 ryzen 5 3500u with bios version 1.07. I fixed the issue by installing the adrenaline drivers from amd website.

@SamirBilalMemon i have the recommended adrenaline drivers and have no black screen. I think you could try using sfc /scannow command in command prompt(administrator)

acer does not provide amd chipset drivers.I really don't know why they don't give it. so i don't think you could rollback to the factory driver. so please take note of that.

@SamirBilalMemon brightness issue can be fixed by turning off vari brightness in amd radeon software. also for colors, you can modify them in the custom color sectionmaybe you are pressing fn+f6 which is causing the display go blank.
