I have a Acer Aspire F15 F5-573G-558H, and I want to upgrade RAM from current 8 GB to at least 16, but not knowing a lot about pc and laptops, searched the youtube about the ram slots, and looking in task manager-performance- and memory it shows that i have 2 slots of 4 in use, but searching the maintenance pages all over the internet says that my laptop only have 2 slots, so is there anyone who can answer do I have some 2 unused slots, if so where they are located, or if I have only 2, why the soft is saying that I have 4?

Are you sure it reported 2 slots of 4 slots in use, or 2 slots of 4GB modules in use? Jack E/NJ

Your mainboard might've been used in other models with the option of also having soldered-in (unreplaceable) memory slots. While your mainboard may have these two extra soldered-in slots, they are empty and can't be used. You can only use the two non-soldered-in slots as listed in the specifications. Jack E/NJ

Thanks, so I can only replace the 2 that are located under 3 screw closed panel, beside SDD? But If I currently have 2 x 4GB what is max memory that I can ad per slot, while not losing any performance, I might sound dumb, but does is it really work like 2+16=18 or 512mb+32Gb=32Gb and 512 MB just matching the speed and DDR type, or there is some other compatibility specs?

I attached pic of current RAM both slots of underside of laptop, but one of mine acquaintance said its possible that there may be some slots on the other side of motherboard under the keyboard, but hes not a specialist. So is it really can be that way or not?

You can replace one or both 4GB modules with 8GB modules. So you can either have 12GB total (4GB+8GB) or 16GB total(8GB+8GB).
Yes, there may be solder-bumps (BUT NO SLOTS) for two more modules on the mainboard BUT THE MODULES MUST BE SOLDERED-IN PERMANENTLY --- THIS WOULD NOT BE PRACTICAL OR ADVISABLE FOR YOU TO ATTEMPT! So your total practical total RAM is still 16GB with two 8GB modules.
