Hello,

Got mine Acer Helios 300 a few weeks ago and yesterday i tried to recover it to the state I received from Acer. I can do it using the preinstalled Recovery Management BUT, when im trying to do it by D2D at the start of the system by pressing ALT + F10 it gives me error code 0xc00000f and says my computer needs to be repaired and i must put the recovery disk on. It does not start the eRecovery system. Does anyone know how to make this work? I mean the ALT+F10 system recovery. Thanks in advance for any solutions!

Had you created the recovery media after you got your laptop?
D2D method works when you use a recovery media.

To restore your laptop in your case try using system restore option available in windows.

So according to that F10 + Alt Recovery works only if i created backup by myself? On separared disc od USB?
Im asking because when I was trying to figure it out on different forums i found the information that when Alt + F10 is used it should pop The eRecovery from the hidden partition without any external backup.

yes, normally alt+F10 keys works without any external media, by the way, if your system still boots, i suggest you to create the USB recovery media and do the refresh from the USB media.

if the creation of the USB media recovery is not working too, probably something went corrupted.

you can try a clean windows 10 installation, in the worst case, creating a bootable USB windows 10 installation media:

    I'm not an Acer employee.
