OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
Model: Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G
Bought the laptop without an OS, installed Windows successfully, downloaded all drivers and apps, etc... but the Acer apps are not working. They're open and working in the background, but they're not responding when I click to open them.

>>>Bought the laptop without an OS>>>Sometimes happens because the generic Microsoft Windows isn't always the same as the ACER OEM version. Try downloading and re-trying this version againIf it still doesn't respond, then try to install it in Win11's compatibliity mode for Win10. The way you do that is to right click properties on the installation executable. Click the compatibliity tab. And choose to run in Win10 compatibility.

Hi @pewdiepiebobsvegana7,# Try to get the BIOS page.1. Turn OFF the unit.2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
3. You will be in setup utility page.
4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
7. Your unit will restart by itself.
Check this T/S and post the result. 0 -

Sorry, I can only guess. My best guess is system files that AcerCareCenter depends on, might've been updated requiring re-installation. Next is simple app corruption. Win10/11, and to a lesser extent Win8x, seem to have a lot more bugs than Win7. They seem less stable, unpredictable & require more frequent updates & tixes than Win7 ever had. At any rate, thanks for reporting back.
