Aspire A315 22 slow loading and playing games

Hi looking for help. My Aspire 3 8GB ram  and 1TB HDD is really slow at loading up games like Minecraft and it is impossible to play Ark Survival on. Lots of lag playing games such as Minecraft also.
Any suggestions how to increase speeds please?
