Aspire E5-575G Only works when plugged in

I bought this laptop just over a year ago. (Heh, funny how it starts acting up one week after the warranty ends) A few days ago, I used it on a job, and when finished, I closed the screen and unplugged it. I essentially put it to sleep before stowing it away in my backpack. A few hours later, I opened it back up, but it wouldn't wake up. The light was on, indicating it was asleep, but pressing Enter or the power button had no effect. Eventually, I plugged it in and it immediately came back to life. Since that day, it won't function without the power cord. If I have it plugged in and pull the cord, it shuts down immediately. The battery seems to be contained within, so reseating it might not be a simple task. The battery shows fully charged whenever I have it on. The battery may be draining a little while unplugged, because I notice the charge status light is orange when I first plug it in. But, it turns blue within a minute. Any ideas?

Hi,
Switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, follow the instructions in the video, once finished leave the laptop to rest for 15-20 mins before starting again.

Hmmm... I just pulled out my laptop for the first time in a week, and it came on without being plugged in. As soon as I set it down, the power cut out. I hit the power button again and it came on. I have to wonder if there may be a connection loose. I'll have to investigate. And, the battery had drained to 88%, so something is definitely wrong. Anyway, thank you for your help!0
