laptop keeps dropping wifi connection

Hi everyone. My E5-553G-14QY is no longer able to maintain a wireless connection to our home network, though all other wireless devices have no problem staying connected. The Acer connects, then drops, connects then drops. Any suggestions? How would I go about replacing the wireless card on the unit? Thank you for any information you all wish to provide! --Rick

Hello,
You can try to fix it by updating the WLAN driver. You can download the latest WLAN driver from Acer here. If updating the driver doesn't help go to device manager -> network adapters and post the model of your Wireless card.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
-Model number
-Part number(not required, but helpful)
-CPU
-GPU-Operating systemHelios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
