Screen Quality? g9-793-79v5
Is there any way to update the panel on this later with a 75hz screen? I have been hearing a lot about 120hz and how great it is and want to start slowly making my way there, but I also want IPS for the color, as I may do some editing too. This model originally came with a 75hz, but the 79v5 is only 60hz. It almost has every other spec I want, so I am wondering if the the difference in refrechrate is noticable enough to be a deal breaker? It is either this laptop or a 120hz IPS-equilivent. On a tangent, does anyone know anything about these Wide-View or IPS-level panels? I have heard they are NOT IPS. I have been told it is either a branding thing, where they are the exact same tech, but cannot use the name IPS, since LG owns the name, but I have also heard that Wide-View and IPS-level is a hybrid btw IPS and TN, much like VA. I am just wondering if I am making the right choice and getting the most bang for my buck.
