Hi @nestynest can you explain a bit more? How do you know your ram is stuck at 300mhz? You can get more details about your RAM right in Windows using CMD and typing the following (without quotes): "wmic MEMORYCHIP get BankLabel, Capacity, DeviceLocator, MemoryType, TypeDetail, Speed". See my attached image for more details.

Hi @MPADHU, whenever Windows 10 automatically updates your Radeon drivers, it doesn't automatically install the Radeon control panel to match. Head over to the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your graphics…

You're most welcomed buddy, I'm glad it worked for you! :)

@Dulat Right! I used to get a similar message (with the modes being unclickable) whenever Windows Update installed a later Realtek audio driver on my system and broke the functionality of the app. But even then all I had to do was reinstall the dax app I mentioned previously and the Dolby app would work. In your case, I'd…

I'm glad you got it sorted!

Ah! We had an issue with the early video card drivers for the AN515-42 model and screen discoloration (see here https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/548429/nitro-an515-42-amd-2500u-560x-have-problem-about-color-with-windows-10-build-1803). My advice, try updating your video card drivers (I think your unit has an Nvidia…en Customize color of close, minimize, maximize, nitro 5s ans515 53 Comentario por dclanz marzo 2019

Hi @Aluminati it could be possible that by overclocking/underclocking the system became unstable. You mentioned "overclocking with MSI Afterburner does not work because when I klick the checkmark it jump's back to normal accept core voltage". I presume that the software didn't accept your changes (I'm not even certain…

I did it all, but it did not help me: nothing has changed. Введите свой комментарий Just to be certain, you're referring to this app right (see screenshot)? If yes, then while playing an audio file, try clicking on the different types (dynamic, movie, etc) and see if the audio being played actually changes. If it still…

Hi @Mitssu do you have a network cable to connect directly to the wireless router? The reason I ask is that you can connect via a cable and use the device manager to try and update the drivers automatically (windows update) for the wireless card (as per the screenshot).

Hi @Dulat as an alternate step, visit the acer download page for your laptop and download the audio driver. Once downloaded, extract the contents of the folder and head into the Dax 2 folder then into the x64 folder. Copy the dax_app_release_x64 app to your desktop and install it. Now try to access the Dolby Audio program…

Hi @Aluminati I'm going to recommend that you try updating your video card drivers using those supplied by AMD. Head over to https://www.amd.com/en/support and from the drop down menu select processors with graphics then AMD Ryzen processors and finally select your mobile processor (5 or 7) and processing unit (e.g AMD…

Hi all, try the following. Visit the Acer driver website and download the audio driver (this link is for the Acer An515-42: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7605?b=1). Once you do open up the Audio_Realtek_6.0.1.8351_W10x64_A zip file and browse to the Dax2 folder…

Hi all, as new users (and old) may still visit this guide for use, please be advised that AMD has now released graphic drivers for the AMD Ryzen 3, 5 and 7 mobile processors. As such users may want to download the appropriate driver for their systems following the instructions in this thread…

Hey Red, the only performance increase I've noticed is much smoother gameplay with Darksiders 3 and Wolfenstein The New Order which I'm playing back to back at the moment. Also, this could just be me but desktop interactions (dragging/ resizing windows) seem a lot more fluid. I've not done any sort of intensive testing…

Interesting, seems to have worked automatically for the Ryzen 2700. Same specs but it's labelled RX 560 Series however, once it works for you. Here is the Ryzen 2500 screenshots:
-
@Woofah Hopefully not, as I mentioned having to do all of this on one of AMD's Facebook posts and they requested that I send a report on the issue so they can look into it.

Thanks for sharing @Akito123, this may prove quite useful to users without access to an external mouse. :)
