Awesome, that worked perfect. I created a 500mb FAT16 partition on an extra drive I had laying around and put the P11-A4.CAP file renamed to RCVBOOT.CAP. When I powered up I got the two long beeps, then it sat for about 10 seconds and the got two quick beeps. And low and behold system is now working again. Thanks a million!

I notice a few other people having the same or similar issues. Is this forum not monitored by Acer at all? Any help would be appreciated. I deal with alot of customers being a computer repair shop and this makes me want to tell people to stay away from Acer!…
