Would this be the right sata drive for the top slot?

I did, but didnt work. I tried the 2 SSDs in all slots already. In the upper slot the old SSD doesnt work. It only works in the lower slot, and the new SSD is not working at all :-(

Thank you for your information. the problem is, the new Samsung SSD is not regognized by the system. Neighter in the Bios nor in Windows. I tried the new SSD in both slots. Same result. It just dont show up.

You should undervolt your CPU with Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility. I undervolted my 7700HQ with "-150" and got a temperatur decrease of 20-30 C°

I had the same problems after a clean W10 install. On the Acer website the Drivers for the 593 model are *****. Just use the drivers for the 793 model. Everything works fine.

Undervolting affects the CPU. PredatorSense Overclocking affects the GPU. I undervolted the CPU -0.150, No Problems and max temperatur 80°C

How do do you know that Coolboost is able to have the fans run at a max of 5500 rpm? For me Coolboost makes a difference of 300 rpm. Fan max with Coolboost off: 4300rpm Fan max with Coolboost on: 4600rpm

When you start PredatorSense on the left side click "edit", then at the upper right click "lighting".

Just download PredatorSense for the G9-793. Same software.

Same me. One of the left USB port is not working anymore. Dont give it for repair. You'll get your laptop back in worser condition than before!

You are using "Intel Extrem Tuning Utility" for undervolting, right? If you do a 2 minutes stress test. What are your max temperatures?

Same here. Almost every game I get screen tearing when G-Sync is enabled. I already disabled it in my global Nvidia settings just using normal V-Sync. 

I had the same problems. Did a clean Win10 install and after I found only old G9-593 drivers on the Acer website. I just installed the drivers for 793 model. Same with PredatorSense. Everything works fine.

CPU temp 93-96c for Witcher 3 is much too hot! I get 65-70c playing it on highest settings, DSR 3K resolution, undervolt -0,150. 

The Acer G9-593 dont have an Intel integrated GPU!

I installed the Predator17 version on my Predator15 laptop. No problems so far, everything works fine. What missing features do you mean?

Is this ment to be, or a driver issue?
