No it won't damage your GPU/CPU but it may wear your fans out faster. Is there any particular reason you put them on max?

What region/country are you in?

It only happens after sleep mode? Are your drivers updated to the latest version from Nvidia's website?

There is no risk, a lot of gaming laptops actually use the battery while plugged in so you're totally fine don't sweat it.

You can get to the NVIDIA panel through your control panel (press winkey+r and type in control panel, click okay). Or you can right click on the icon in the control panel and send a shortcut to the desktop from there.

You can also try uninstalling NVIDIA and trying the one from Acer's website before formatting, unless you've tried that already

Uninstall your NVIDIA GPU driver, and download and install the latest driver from Nvidia's website

SFM_Bryan, go into your NVIDIA control panel and then to "Manage 3d Settings" and under the 'Global Settings' tab there will be a drop down box that says "Preferred Graphics Processor" and put it to Auto-Select.
