Another idea is to create a DVD boolable with Windows 10, but last version is too large for a regular DVD and I’m not sure if my DVD+R can burn a doble layer DVD... But if the problem is related to monitor driver I think I will have the same problem... what do you think?

Hi Jack, you read my mind! I’ve just ordered a CD to HDD adapter to clone the old HDD to the SSD. Thanks for those SW, because I found some trial that give me less confidence, I’m going to try and let you know the result. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Jack, thanks for your contributions! 1) yes, the SSD si detected and its serial number is shown in the BIOS 2) I’ve tried booting from the USB with the old HD connected and it does not work, and alfer a blink of the Acer logo the laptop starts up with the windows installed in the HD.
