Hello,

I'm trying to find what os the max. resolution (physical limit) by connecting external monitor to my Acer Aspire 7741G via HDMI.

Tried to google ani specifications and no information is published as standard. I don't understand why it isn't. It's basic information what biggest monitor I can use.

Thank you for advices aspecially from Aspire 77XX owners.

Maximum that I found for 2560x1440 is 55Hz (CVT - reduced blank)

I continued experimenting. When I connected 27" DELL LCD, it offerer 2048x1152. That was good. But I wanted to reach 2560x1440. So I tried to play with AMD Radeon Driver. There is possibility to set user's defined resolution and frequency. I started at 30Hz and I found limit 45Hz for CVT timing. I tried another timings and "CVT - reduced blank" gave 55Hz!!!
