Aspire ES1-521 windows 7 wireless driver help
I have a Aspire 5741 and the wrieless does not work. I have updated the BIOS and that still did not fix the problem.
This is my 4th factory reset and it still will not connect to my router. The network trouble shooter does not fix anything as well.
I have checked the Acer website and the driver for the network cars is the same as the one installed.
Any suggestions? I am stuck.

What do you have listed under Control Panel>Device Manager>Network adapters ? If the wireless adapter is there, is the driver operating properly ?
Does Device Manager show any unknown devices ?

Yes it is the same as the one listed on the Acer site. I get the prompt for password and when I enter it that when I get the error.
And thanks for the response.

Soulds like you need a password reset. Note that it is case sensitive.

No it works fin for all other devices.

Two other possibilities:
- caps lock is on
- num lock is on
Try opening Notepad, enter the password so you can see it is correct, copy & paste into password block.
