  • Today at least it is seeing an available network. Yesterday it was not. There is a Broadcom 802 WiFi and it says it is working. Security settings track with WEP, security key present and Key Content has expected value (my password). Still not able to connect. Thanks for hanging in there with me
  • When I enter: netsh wlan show profiles "your WiFi name" key=clear" It says "profile not found on the system." When I do this on a connected computer it displays the expected profile. I get stuck there...
  • Sounds promising Alan, however I am stuck at the very start. I cannot right click on my connection because I have none.
  • Thank Alan, Today I get "no networks" found -same proximity as yesterday. I also cannot turn "off" the WiFi in the PC settings.
