  • The BT hub should have the wifi SSID & password (which will be much longer than 4 characters) on a label - later ones have a little pull (clip) out section on the top of the router which has the label on it - earlier ones I think had the label on the base or the back of the hub. The one BT hub wireless password I currently…
  • To get an accurate (or possibly any) answer to your question you will need the "exact" details of your tablet, as there are various chargers with various connectors available for the various models of Iconia tablets. You tablet should have a label on the back with the model number, or it would also be on the instructions…
  • It's Risna that needs the charger.............
  • It is not possible to provide you with any information about a charger if you don't provide any information about your tablet!!!!
  • With the powered OTG mini hub the Dell keyboard & mouse both worked (with the mouse plugged into the keyboard hub). So there must be a fairly severe power limitaton on the A1 USB port which might be exceeded by some (e.g. illuminated) keyboards. I also checked operation with USB hard drives, both FAT32 & NTFS. The A1-810…
  • I just plugged it in & it works. (I have also used USB thumbdrives & card readers with this cable, with the powered mini hub mentioned below I have used hard disk drives on it, but it would not play with a DVD drive) I have a OTG mini hub capable of accepting auxiliary power & will try it tonight. The A1 might still have a…
  • I have an A1-810 running KitKat & I use an eBay no-name OTG cable with it. I have previously used wireless USB keyboard/mouse combos with it satisfactorily. I have just been trying it with a Dell multimedia keyboard that has an inbuilt USB hub, and a 5 button Dell optical mouse. The A1 works with either of these 2…
  • Your best bet to get 3G data access on the B1 730HD would be to use a MiFi type unit, which gives you a wireless network connected to 3G, to which you can connect using your tablet's inbuilt WiFi. (To use a USB dongle you would need a dongle with Android drivers - which would probably be very difficult to find, and in any…
  • Personally I would try a factory reset on your tablets. Unfotunately this means you will lose any data on the tablets so you would need to back your data up first. If this (and a different memory card) doesn't fix your problem then you have a hardware problem, if it does you have a software problem. Your conclusion about a…
  • But it doesn't affect all devices (mine for example) so this will be a tough one to diagnose. (mine was factory reset before and after the KItKat upgrade but I have no idea whether that's relevant)
  • I'm pretty sure it was possible to store direct to Micro SD on Jelly Bean, but haven't found a way on KitKat. (I'll just have to copy from internal memory to Micro SD after they're taken................)
  • The USB port is not needed AT ALL for a MiFi device - it communicates with the tablet through wifi - so would be easy to use. A USB modem would need drivers- & I realise that one with Android drivers would not be easy to find. The USB port on the A1-810 does have (at least partial) host mode (USB On the go) & can be a…
  • I think you'll be needing a MiFi type device (WiFi 3G Modem/Router) to acheive what you want - unless you can find a USB 3G modem that has Andoid drivers that will install on the A1-810.
  • In kitkat these icons should be white when on & grey when off.
  • I would have thought that disabling McAfee would also stop any messages from it. I've just been looking on my A1-810 for the inbuilt apps that I disabled & I can't even find them!
  • As far as I know you cannot uninstall these apps, but you can disable them so you don't waste storage & time updating them.
  • I don't think we'll find out when KitKat will arrive until it's actually here.

  • On mine the update says the version will remain at 4.2.2, but that this update is necessary to allow the KitKat update to be done later.
