  • Nope I only have Windows 10 installed. I will try the CMOS battery to see but it is just a random occurrence that the keyboard light will flash and the laptop will take a while to boot and then the bios time will become hours behind once it boots. I bought it on Amazon without extended warranty.
  • I had updated the bios when 1.12 came out but never changed the CMOS battery and laptop still has the issue of not being able to boot right away. Today it just kept blinking the lights on the keyboard and finally booted as the power had drained because I accidently let it run on battery all day. Overall I am satisfied with…
  • Well the issue has now gone away and the only thing that I have done is I keep the laptop plugged in when its not in use. I recently went away for a week and the issue did not come back while on the battery too.
  • Well I still have not found the solution and this past weekend I shut it down Friday morning and when I went to use it Sunday night the bios said my time was Friday June 19th at 3:40 am so I give up as everything else works except at random times the bios wants to not start properly and gets out of sync. I can still use it…
  • My laptop has bios clock issues where it just flashes the keyboard when you press the button then when it finally boots the bios time is off. I do have my own thread open but the battery reset does not help nor does disabling fast boot.
  • I have reset the battery by holding down the power button so I will report back in a few days or so after more testing is done.
  • Nevermind spoke too soon, my laptop is doing it again for 2 days in a row. Right now it is 8:49 PM Eastern and bios showing 10:09 AM same day. The keyboard lights flash then it stays black for 30 seconds before it boots and the bios time is out of sync. I started it up on battery. I do not see where the reset is on the…
  • After a number of days of testing I think fastboot was the issue because after I turned it off everything boots correct and the bios time stays in sync. I did not reset the battery. I had tested shutting down the laptop on battery/plugged in and turning it on via battery/plugged in to see if that also could have been an…
  • PH315-52-78VL made 6/18/2019, I have only had this for 1 month and purchased from Amazon.ca
  • 315-52 2019 helios 300 model and nope I have not yet, I have looked up on it. I should give that a shot. I was also thinking of going back 2 versions of the bios as I did update it 2x since I bought it.
  • Well today I got the error where my laptop would not boot while plugged in. I pulled the power from the side and it beeped then the clock was off 3 hours. This is annoying to keep going into the bios to set the time properly. I think it has to do with sleep or hibernation even though it is off.
  • Well I have changed my laptop power settings to high performance and so far the bios time has stayed in sync over the last few days. Not sure if this is the solution.
