  • My w510 gets turned off every night and turned on again in the morning or email and web surfing while getting the day started. When it is turned on (not sleep mode but actual shutdown and power up) after the overnight shutdown the clock shows the incorrect time. It is usually just a few hours off but sometimes it is a few…
  • Have you tried the old "Hold the power button in for about 1 minute then release" then "press the power button again " Trick? It has worked for me in the past on both the w3-810 and w511 I own when they tend to get stuck in that kind of situation. Thanks, Ted...
  • It looks to be the same one... However since I did not translate the language I have to go by what the card looks like... Ted...
  • Yes ... the 64GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSD (the gray and red one) works great in both the W3 and W510 I have ... Ted...
  • Kewl... Just did a retroactive price match with Staples by calling them (14 days is the time limit...) on the 64gb version... (already had to original price match from 429 to 399 when I ordered) Thanks for the Office Depot link... So the 64gb was only $349.99 and then with the rewards points I spent for Ink Rewards of…
  • The San Disk 64gb Ultra (the red and gray one) works great in my W510 and I moved it to my W3 for testing and it worked with no hiccups so I picked up another at Best Buy (50.99 USD today on sale) and it works also with no problems. Now both 64GB tablets have double their factory storage space... Ted.
  • Only the AC adapter / power cord no adapter cords like with the W510. The documents were scant .. but there was the Microsoft code for office to enter to activate and worked well. And ... no disc... Also picked up the ACER case for it and it seems to hold the tablet real nice like it should. A far cry from the case for the…
  • Got my 64gb W3 in today.... Staples price matched Office Depot and did a ship to store... and also used some of my ink rewards to cut the price a wee bit more... To get back on subject... The Micro SD works corrrectly popping in and out... The Micro SD reads and writes and is happy with the 64GB Micro SD I have ... it is…
  • I would suggest that the W3 be looked as a Windows PC (which it is) and not confuse it being used as a Android Tablet / Cell Phone or any other device that is NOT a Windows PC. The litmus test would be: Can I connect 2 Windows Desktop/Laptop/Tablet PC's together the same way I connect my Cell Phone/GPS/Camera to a Windows…
  • Padgett - I attempted the cure you advised with no change in operation. Still will not finish from a reset / restart sequence. If I do a shutdown (either from the desktop or the metro charms) it behaves correctly and shutsdown and then is able to be re-started immediately by pressing the power button with no problem. I do…
