  • The machine I'm working on Inspire (X3400 U0212) has this stamp INSIDE the front panel door: 413AJ03XXX R- THEN UNDER THAT: MOLD#1 L.Y. then under that: ABS< CHI MEI PA-756S THEN UNDER THAT: ABS PMMA SAMSUNG BF-0670 Hope that's what you need.
  • Sorry this did not work for you. Maybe create a whole new power switch? I kind of got the little black thing stuck in there too far at first and could not turn the machine off, I thought I would have to use the surge protector switch to turn the whole thing off/on. But I realized I'd shoved it back in there too far and it…
  • I am trying something. Where you press the power button 3 little while pegs come down with pressure. The one immediately under the power button touches the switch which completes the on/off action. The black thing this white peg touches has been partially pulled OUT of it's socket. Or maybe it's supposed to be crooked in…

Sometimes it starts up but soon as I remove pressure from the button it turns itself off. Sometimes it continues to run even when I lift…

I read a review on NewEgg where a user had 3 of 5 machines do this and those were still under warranty. Sounds to me like a motherboard issue, but it could be the power button as mentioned.…

In fact I entered the snid for the machine I am working on PLUS I entered the snid for my own Acer desktop (4 years old) and get the "No RCD available for the entered Serial Number" statement. I entered both Serial Numbers as well, get the same thing. So I decided…
  • Albert I wanted to try to help you but am not using Windows XP. Have you tried shortening the file name? First make a duplicate of the file giving you this error message, then just shorten the duplicated file's name. Maybe leave it's title such as "chipset" or "audio" and see if it will work then. I hope that works.
