After updating the bios and endless hours of trying various options I decided to return the graphics card and just use the two HDMI ports and one d-sub port from the onboard graphics card. Thank you everyone for your input and help.

Thank you. I've downloaded the newest bios firmware. Hopefully that will allow me to use both. When I initially installed the GT 1030 both graphic cards wouldn't work. I had to disable the onboard graphics in the device manager before I could get the Gt 1030 to work.
