  • Alright, for those who struggle with this in the future, I installed the Aspire ES1-422 Enlantech driver for Windows 8.1, went to BIOS (press F2 continually at startup to enter BIOS) to set Touchpad from Advanced to Basic, then had to do Fn+F7 to get it to work. It works swimmingly!
  • But will it be able to run a fresh install from a disk/USB, seeing as it doesn't work with the Windows 7 ones? Thanks in advance!
  • So you're saying that I shouldn't try installing Windows 7 on my laptop (because it won't ever work?)? What if I do a clean install of the existing Windows on it (using media creation tool)? By the way, it's a N3350 Celeron laptop. Thanks in advance!
