  • So they did repair the old one?
  • Thanks Manny. I'll set up a repair ticket.
  • Yea. Lets hope. I try to avoid sending monitors in if I could. Don't want dead pixels lol.
  • At least they are doing something about it. Its not a cheap piece of hardware.
  • No I haven't contacted support yet. Let me know when they get back to you, Manny. I will surely submit a ticket. Thanks.
  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFDtw8jh-Cw This is the problem I am having with my BM320. I'm glad that you have your problem fixed!
  • I would like to know if this fix can be applied to the ACER BM320 monitors as well. It exhibits the exact same problem that is being described in this thread. ACER Manny? Please let me know.
  • I bought one of Asus pro 4K 32 inch monitors and surprisingly it has the same issue but it's less frequent. I really like the monitor though despite the shortcoming and I can't really find one that can match it at the moment. I even went with an LG 4K 32 at one point and it had the same issue. I returned that one though.…
  • Was the tech referring to only the predator monitors or other 4K displays as well? Thanks.
  • I just wanted to comment. I purchased an Acer BM320 not too long ago and it has the same problem. That monitor is supposedly a professional monitor. I don't think any professional in graphic arts or CAD design would appreciate a defect like this.
  • Yep, definitely confirmed its a problem with the panel itself. I hooked up my PS4 via HDMI to the monitor and the same issued occurred, confirming that it has nothing to do with my computer graphics card or my computer setup in general.
  • Yeah. You are right. The same problem happens over HDMI. I too had a few days without the glitch and then recently, it started popping back up again. I kinda want to replace the monitor but I can't find one that matches the one I have.
  • I just have to leave a comment. I don't own a predator monitor but I do have the Acer BM320 monitor and its experiencing the issue people are talking about. I changed to an approved cable by DP and it's still doing it. Its worth noting that I have a radeon rx580. Someone mentioned switching to NVIDIA might help......
  • Yeah. Its the displayport. I found an article from last year regarding Radeon graphics cards. Apparently, 10 bit is only supported on displayport while the max bit for hdmi is 8. I purchased a displayport cable and everything is fine now.
  • Yup. I have the latest Radeon Drivers. I wonder if it has anything to do with HDMI vs. Display port.
  • Another question. It says that my monitor supports 10 bit color depth, but when I try to enable that in the Radeon software settings I only see 8 bit color depth. Does anyone know why that is? I have a Radeon RX580
  • Ahh. Thats good to know. This monitor is probably one of the best I've used. I just wish it weren't so expensive.
