  • Model:The output from `sudo lshw -C network` gives me "QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter" by "Qualcomm Atheros". Band:To be honest I'm not sure how to check that. I tried `iw phy` which tells me band 1 has "HT20/HT40" and band 2 has "HT20/HT40" so I assume the module supports both, but I'm not sure.
  • As far as drivers are concerned, Ubuntu offers the drivers which are in the kernel, so there are no special drivers to use. Acer doesn't make linux drivers as far as I know. The power saving route is interesting though! I'm gonna check that out, I hope it's something that simple. Thanks for this tip!
