  • Ok jack will try but for now ofc cant say if its a solution.. I prefer not to but will give it a try….. reason is because it happens "randomly" so will have to see over time… but have seen what u say and will try
  • I have the same problem also.... AN515-55-75U6 (and print on keys on keyboard started come off after very short usage!)
  • I have it working now..... Today I ran the installation tool that comes with the audio driver downloaded from acer support.... AND I now have it working... I also ran this yesterday where it didnt work.... But yesterday I manually removed the audio driver before running the "acer audio installation tool"..... Today I just…
  • I will try this today meanwhile I also have a newer nitro with 2060 rtx graphics but its the same problem... Ive from start had a feeling that issue was related with May update of Windows since it happend after that... See link here seems can be part of solution…
  • Yeah but shouldn't I then install it again... yesterday updated nvidia driver and now Run with high performance Nvidia processor option is gone... weird... and then all could be related to Nvidia.. but won't that just happen again when reinstall drivers then
  • Yeah win update 2004 updated 30th of May - I can't tell if that was exactly the reason... I've tried normally remove and reinstall the Nvidia driver with first putting the Acer driver on for graphics... But can try with ddu when investigated it a bit .... but should then only unintall ?
  • Lol so each computer is an unique individual...? Well... poster also wrote he dont have the error code anymore.... so just telling me could very well be related.... Here also happend after updates so think even more says could be same thing causing it than otherwise.... but then ofc the big question what solves it?? ...…
  • A small comment (though I have the Nitro 5 - sorry 'bout jumping in here) - but I also have the GTX 1060 - and I started having problems end May / start June so which is in same time frame.... I didn't recognise any error codes... But my dedicated graphics suddenly didn't run in some programs that it usually did run with…
  • I have the same model - and above with removing the driver did not solve it for me.... The sound is still very low
  • I am certain fresh and new from the store I had the Power options in the Bios and there too the PME just like in the photo I shared... If you only allow Wake on Lan - then it only works if the computer is put in sleep mode from Windows 10... Therefore PME is also needed. And yes I too have the Nitro 5 -AN515-52... There…
  • I'd appriciate hearing from sombody (else) who knows the answer.. I don't want to turn it into a discussion about if this exists or not... Apparently the "answers" given already is from someone who dosen't know.. JackE do you intent to help at all ?? -- Said many times the answers is already given... Can a BIOS be…
  • no, I am speaking solely of my Nitro 5... and all info is already given... (but ofc I compare to something where I can see it working: my old acer - but dont let that confuse you) I, on my Nitro 5, in BIOS, pressed Fn + TAB 3 times... To see: if there were more options than what I saw (thinking at that time about wireless…
  • Sorry, but I feel like speaking Chinese here - I was the one who wanted answer to a question... I didn't make the power option to come back - that is my question: How do I get the advanced options back like the Power options?? How it was there in first place, I think it just was there - unlike my older acer, where I press…
  • It actually happend before I updated the BIOS to 1.22 - I downloaded 1.22 from Acer's website - entering my SNID and such... BUT before when I had 1.19 I saw the Power option and PME option... But I tried to see if there were more to it so I hold down the keys Fn+TAB 3 times.... That's what got the Power options to go…
  • Yeah(!) - the above video worked, so I now have a power option in my Bios on my Aspire V5-573G I clicked 3 times FN key + TAB in Bios, then I exited Bios, restarted and entered Bios again (then advanced and power settings showed) .. I entered Power management in Bios and enabled Wake on PME, and now it works when it is…
  • Maybe there is some hidden settings in Bios ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y7kCZS7Jjo
  • Hi Brummy, it is already switched off, but thanks
  • Well, I have been there already, done the basics... But some way it must work since it is working when sleeping at first, woken up, then shut down... I don't have these options in the bios on V5-573G (I only have Wake-on-lan), not even got that on my new Nitro (which works): Navigate to Deep Power Off Mode, and press ENTER…
