  • I am happy to report that Fed Ex delivered the replacement stylus 30 minutes ago and it works great on the W700P.
  • Anyone with a W700P that can write with finger as well as the stylus please reply what you see in the pen and touch panel. You can get there from a search on pen. There may be one, two or more tabs on this control panel. thanks
  • Have you tried it with the power supply plugged in.
  • wmm, Wonder if you could tell me if you have the Dagi 508 that has a spring and clear disc on end. Not your standard nib. Thats what came with my W700P. It's style that I had not seen elsewhere.
  • There is a rotate lock on the edge of the tablet. It would be in upper left if you are holding tablet in landscape mode with windows button at the bottom. The dock can be reconfigured to portrait mode by removing kick stand, slip it into the other slot on dock rear and rotate tablet 90 degrees CCW.
  • The dock has to be powered from the external power supply for the three USB ports. It does not take the power from the tablet.
  • Thanks for reply wmm. Acer support agrees with you that stylus is problem and sending replacement. I can write with it just fine though on a 23" HP touch screen running Windows 7. That, I don't understand, just magic!
  • The Dagi stylus that came with my W700P writes fine on a HP 23" all in one touch screen running windows 7. I sure wish it would write on the Acer tablet. I noticed that my control panel for pen and touch has only one tab and that is Touch. Is the pen tab missing or is that normal in Win 8 ?
  • I have a W700P also rcvd 2/27/13. Stylus does nothing. Draw with finger OK. Wonder if you can draw with your finger without any setting change. Geat little machine , but stylus was a prime consideration in my purchase so hope to get this resolved. Fat fingers are selecting nearby stuff and missing my target.
