  • I had the same problem and this solved the issue: 1. Start-up the computer with the tablet in the keyboard dock 2. Disconnect power plug 3. Un-dock tablet from keyboard 4. Re-dock tablet into keyboard voila - if you have the device manager open during this process you will see that the "unknown device" disappears as soon…
  • Media Player Classic will also use hardware acceleration if you do this: 1. Start MPC and go to View --> Options -->External Filters 2. Click on "Add Filters" and select "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" 3. Click on "Prefer" 4. Restart MPC with a 1080p file and enjoy hardware accelerated video with CPU less than 10%.
  • Got mugged in Paris and lost my trusty W510 ! Bougt a new one and guess what - I couldn't get 1080p videos to work anymore. With hardware accelaration enabled in Media Player Classic (MPC-HC) I would only get a green screen. And with hardware accelaration disabled, the CPU would sit around 80%. I knew I had it working…
  • Google Earth will run very nicely in OpenGL mode ! Just decline the message that says....."bla bla bla, we recommend directx bla bla bla" and you will see it works!
  • 1080p works without any probs. If you use Media Player Classic the CPU load will sit somewhere around 12 percent. Slightly higher when using VLC (around 20%) .
  • Initially had the same problem as described above. Just updated with the new driver pack (BIOS 1.51 + Drivers) and that seems to have solved the problem! Try it and let us know if it works for you as well !
