  • Oops, i missed out the 60fps video link i mentioned in the post above. Here you go : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vigX3H7WX5Q Here are the CRU settings I used to increase the screen refresh rate from 143.814hz to 143.999hz (Refresh rate reported by Vsynctester/Ufo refresh rate online test when Gsync is enabled). You may…
  • Hi, i know this is an old thread, sorry to dig it up, but its the only one I could find that relates to the issue im facing. Similar to you guys, even though my xb271hu is set to 144hz in windows, my monitors refresh rate is actually slightly below 144hz, but only when Gsync is enabled (fullscreen or fullscreen +…
  • Mine says 144fps 144hz. I’m using the latest version of Firefox.
  • I sent in my Acer x34a in for repair in the Uk in its original box and after repair they sent me the monitor back in the same box I sent it in (as expected), but without the top part to hold it in place, the monitor had the freedom to bounce around in its box in transit! The monitor survivied and had no aesthetic damage -…
  • Hi Op, I see the spot, and its pretty dark compared to the rest of the screen. I would contact acer for a repair, who will most likely swap the panel out, or rma it.

  • Acer? 3 days no response?
  • 750ti - https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/4mo0cv/3440x1440_compatibility_with_750ti/ i7 2600 - as long as you can overclock it a bit - Should be good! 8gb ram - I would say bare minimum. Of course. You could always upgrade the graphics card at a later date.

  • Your system will need a graphics card that has a displayport if you wish to run higher than 60hz, or hdmi if you wish to run the pc at 60hz only (hdmi it capped at 60hz). For 100hz gaming I would recommend at least an Nvidia 1080 or higher. A modern i5/i7 cpu made within say, the last 5 years. I run an i7 4770k which is…

  • X34 and x34a uses the exact same panel. No visual / audio differences. They changed the stand and added swivel and an optional headphone holder at the back.
  • They use exactly the same panel. I believe the only difference being swivel and headphone holder at the back. I know this as I have sent in a few x34a's for repair and they installed x34 panels each time, 4 different x34as. I knew this as the osd software reflected it, even though the x34a was out 2016+ , the installed…
  • Just a suggestion, not sure if it will cure this issue. Try turning off fast startup in Windows 10.
  • I noticed this on my x34 after receiving it back from Acer (panel replacement).. The gaps unfortunately leak coil whine when the monitor is overclocked to anything but 60hz. This coil whine sounds like a whistle. If I push the bezel against the screen, to make the gap smaller, the coile whine sound reduces. This makes me…
  • If you think that's bad, try having an x34 that has a non centered crosshair, about half a cm off. I told the retailer (Ebuyer) and they said it's not an issue worthy of replacement/fix.
