I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds but it didn't turn off, so I tried holding it down until the LED went out. I think I was holding the button down for about ten minutes or so, and the LED is still on. The only way I seem to be able to turn off the laptop at the moment is with the pinhole on the back.

Thank you for responding so quickly, but that didn't work. I did exactly as you said but nothing's changed. Edit: I probably should've mentioned this in the original post, but the screen is completely black as in it isn't on at all. The laptop itself is on, but nothing else is working.
