  • Hi Folks, I had same problem with BIOS not updating, and battery stopped charging. My steps: 1. Updated Windows 8 entirely, there were 70+ updates 2. Updated Acer Windows 8 drivers 3. In BIOS, reset all security settings 4. Disable FTPM 5. Upgraded one at a time from 1.03 to 1.07 Now my battery works fine. I can't say…
