  • Yeah that's what I already figured. A BONE without any meat on it.... For all of us here GEE Thanks Acer that's the way to drum up repeat business, Someone ask for help. And you just ignore them...
  • Unless you stay in at least daily contact with them, Through their chat which is only avalible here in the U.S.A, Or maybe call into the repair Depot that has your tablet, About all they will tell you is example: System OS reloaded system passes all test. Without anytype of explanation of what was wrong with it to begin…
  • Out of curosity of a few here. PLEASE let us know how it goes, as it doesn't sound like a fully functionong OEM OS. But instead a base image that may work, But is really mean't for dev's to build off of from. This being said if it is a fully funtional OS minus some of the Crappy Bloatware that is added to the factory…
  • Thanks to all for your help as usual. I did look at say cheese and was going to try it, When I ran accross one that wouldn't work for me on my old Lenovo. It was Screenshot Ultimate Pro, of which they had a Free Version that I could try before buying it. I about dropped when I seen it worked, So I forked out the big .99…
  • Yes but it is hard when your in the middle of a game as opposed to a simple click or tap.
  • OK Acer Tommy. I have a question. Is the link to the Kernal Source Code the same as the factory image that is put on the A1-810 from the factory? Or is it just the base of the image without all the extras? And if it is the later is the tablet still useable at that state? It sounds more to me that he was asking about a…
  • You should be able to either Feel or Hear a slight Click when it is properly inserted. I am using a SanDisk Ultra 32gb micro sd card. Also you will have to push it a tad past flush with the A1-810's surface, I usually just use my fingernail to do it.
  • No I didn't get a solution. But it's neither Acer's or Google's fault. But instead the third party Mfg's, Thanks toll for their help....... Ricky
  • Correct me if I am wrong but does not all Acer Products come with a 1 year Travelers Warranty to cover just these types of situations?
  • Try this link to a devoloppers website, It may help it has many others. http://forum.xda-developers.com
  • Not knowing what sensors you need exactly it's hard to say. I myself with my A1-810 have no problems play games on it that require me to Tilt my Tablet or turn it from side to side. Are uou sure the program you are trying to use is compatible with the A1-810? That is the first thing I would double check. And even though it…
  • YEA Thanks. That's what I kind of figured from other forums that I have checked with. But what Frost me about it is both Mfg's seem not to care that their products they say will work on Android OS XX>X>X and above. Don't and they offer no solutions or refunds. When I first got my A500 I had trouble with BT Keyboards and…
  • You've got to be kidding? They have you send it in for one thing and then ity comes back "BROKE" with another problem. Then make you wait a week before talking with you about it? That's a crock, I suppose they will make you pay to send it back again? When they are the ones that messed it up this time. AllI can say is look…
  • Yes I did pay $249 for my tablet. I got it from Fingerhut. But I have seen them about $50 cheaper in some places. As for the update Not a Problem!!!
  • I am based in the U.S. I sent it in two days before Christmas and recieved it as I said today. And it's working better now then when I first got it. I to hope you are wrong. But I can't say I hadn't thought the samething. Thanks: Ricky
  • Funny I also run Windows 8 Pro x64 and the Acer provided drivers work with no problem. Did you try installing them in Run as Admin? I did and it worked with no problem. And if your running Win 8 RT I don't know if that would make a difference or not, But it's worth thinking about.
  • Sadly this more then likely is true. Mine the A1-810 was released with 4.2.2 and it's a 2013 model. Conmsidering when I sent it in for repair it said it had Android 4.1 on it? That being said you would think they would be releasing the 2014 model of tablets with Key Lime aka: Kit Kat. You would think that Acer would want…
  • I don't know if thisn will or does amount to a hill of beans when it comes to the Boot Loop Problem or not, But this is what I found out about my A1-810's service. I just got done with Chatting with Customer Support about why it was taking so long for my tablet to be sent back from Texas to me? And the agent that I was…
  • True very true. Kind of like DELL a few years back when they decided to start offering Linux on some of their PC's/Laptops. Some Linux Users jumped at the chance to buy a Brand Name Computer that was well known with an Open Source OS, that one being Ubuntu. But that speed was quickly lost when those who bought those…
