Since updating my GPU drivers from nvidia's website and putting another fan on my desk, I have not experienced lock-ups. The monitor says my GPU max usage is at 76% with 55 C (131 F). So I'd say either outdated drivers or heat may have played a factor in freezing my computer. Thanks for your help; this monitor program is…

I checked some of their suggestions, but the memory check showed no results. It turns out the nVidia drivers on the acer support page are outdated, but I installed the newest drivers from the nVidia site and they appeared to overwrite old drivers with a newer version number. The graphics card is a geforce 940M 2gb. However…
