  • Just now realized .... won't work on a restart. Power on does work. Shut down, power on, Acer Logo, F2 gets me into bios.
  • Sorry for the late reply. No notification you answered. Thank you for the info. I need to boot from a USB thumb drive. I have tried F2 as you suggest. Will try again, and come back. Edit no joy. Clicked RESTART, got Acer LOGO, and started tapping F2. Ended up at W10 desktop.
  • Hmmm. OK. I found essentially the same thing, but did not have to set/save a supervisor p/w. Did not have to disable secure boot. I started with a DEFAULT Bios setting, then followed that link.   • Yes ... the card appears in Explorer and is accessible. I could do a factory restore etc, .. but others have had the same problem I have ... per GOOGLE search ... which brings me pause to do the restore. Would prefer a bit more of a comprehensive approach. Thank you for the reply.
