  • Oh, I also changed the button behavior, so when I'm on power, it will shut down and when on battery the power button makes it sleep (I really don't use that, it's just in case I bump that button, I can get the screen back right away and not have it power down).
  • I would keep trying what you are doing, maybe with it plugged in and with it not. I actually held the power button + vol down for about 30 seconds and it seemed to fire up, but I dunno if that did it or if it just decided to power up.   • I did the available updates via the Acer app. Funny, it would NOT install the latest power management driver (failed everytime). Beginning to think I have a bad machine. Sucks too, as I really like this little guy.
  • Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a shot. One other question... most times, when I dock or undock my tablet to the keyboard, I get the stupid windows warning about safely ejecting a device before disconnection. There is no such option to do so on the taskbar and I have no USB drive inserted. Is there a fix for this…
