Tons of people had the same problem. The fix is to press ctrl alt delete, then click on task manager. Scroll down until you see Intel Technology Access Service. Right click on it and end task. You might have to do it a couple times after booting, but it works.

After ending the task on Intel Technology Access twice, it no longer goes active for me. Also I no longer have to unplug my keyboard to get it to work. I got an update from Intel last week that I think fixed both issues.

This is an issue that troubled a lot of acer owners. This wroks. Press ctrl alt delete, then click on task manager. Scroll down until you see Intel Tecnology Acceess. Rioght click it and then end task. Your mouse will start working immediately.

I have not tried that, but I have found that after ending task on the Intel Technology Access Service a few times, it no longer goes active. Now when I check it is not in the processes list amnymore. It is in the services list buit it says stopped beside it now and everything is working great.

From what I have read it has to do with ethernet. I have a wired ethernet set up and it does not affect mine when I end task. But I am reluctant to permanently delete it just in case.

In the meantime this works. Press ctrl alt delete, clcik on task manager. Scroll down until you see Intel Technologyt Access. Right click and then end task. IOt is a temp solution that will work until you reboot, then youi have to do it again.

In the meantime, you camn do this. Ctrl alt Delete. Select device manager. Scroll down until you see Intel Technology Access. Right click on it and slect end task. This will work until you reboot.

I developed the same problem not too long ago. Althought it is not a permanent fix I find unplugging the keyboard and plugging it bac in works, easier than rebooting.

Thanks so much. The mouse, static noise problem was driving me crazy. Doing the end task on Intel Technology Access service fixed it right away. However I do use a wired ethernet connection and am worried deleteing it or permanently disabling it will prevent me from getting online. Amny thoughts, helpo would be great…
