  • Thank you for the anwser. The customer does not have the budget for replacing the motherboard and to pay 80 euro for a motherboard in a laptop of 200 euro is a bit pricy. The soldering is also not an option. Thanks again for the help.
  • There are solder pads on the motherboard that are the same as sata data and power connections but there is no normal connection. There are also 2 screw holes so I thought that there was a thing that could be connected for normal sata. EDIT: I will try to make some pictures of it tomorrow when I have access to the laptop.
  • Thanks for the awser but it is not what I asked for. I want to downgrade my bios from 2.15 to 1.7 not upgrading it. I also have Windows back so I can flash within Windows. And if I flash it I want to make sure I can recover from a bad BIOS flash
