Thank you for the anwser. The customer does not have the budget for replacing the motherboard and to pay 80 euro for a motherboard in a laptop of 200 euro is a bit pricy. The soldering is also not an option. Thanks again for the help.

There are solder pads on the motherboard that are the same as sata data and power connections but there is no normal connection. There are also 2 screw holes so I thought that there was a thing that could be connected for normal sata. EDIT: I will try to make some pictures of it tomorrow when I have access to the laptop.

Thanks for the awser but it is not what I asked for. I want to downgrade my bios from 2.15 to 1.7 not upgrading it. I also have Windows back so I can flash within Windows. And if I flash it I want to make sure I can recover from a bad BIOS flash
