Looks like the power button is broken. It was deemed not worth fixing. Since the tablet has been prety much written off anyway, I may try removing the button and seeing if the unit can be powered on with a pen cap. Bummer that it only lasted a year and a half.

I opened the unit. I unset and resat the existing battery but the problem remained. I am reluctant to buy a new battery thinking it would…

After an hour of screwing around with Websites and phone calls, I was told it would be $250 to fix my 19 month old tablet. Oh well. At that price, I'll buy something to replace it. Probably…
