  • Hi billsey, thanks for your reply. All drives that I have seen, and show the connection, look like the image you've shown.My drive's connection looks like this: So, I'm still not certain if the drives I'm looking at will be compatible due to the differences show in the photos.Cheers.

  • Thanks for your reply.The V771g comes with two Hard Drive bays so my main holds a SSD with Manjaro Linux installed. The other hold a HDD with Windows as I still need to access Windows for a couple of things. I've seen some drives (second Hand) available on my search but I'd prefer a New drive and to be available in the UK…
  • Thanks for your reply.Yes, the computer is a few years old but since sorting the CPU and fan out, adding a SSD card and getting rid of Windows, it now runs as smooth as... I've had the drive out a few times when stripping the computer down for cleaning and maintenance so swapping the drive out won't be an issue. Thanks…
