  • Thanks for the reply again, what I meant by "closed origins" is I closed the application. If I do reset the battery, what will it do to solve the problem and how will I know the problem has been solved. Also I thought it was to do with the cpu temps being high but I ran a cpu stress test via Intel xtu and the temps in the…
  • Update again, Installed Nitro sense and had it open on the side, I opened up origin and immediately saw the cpu temps jump from (just to literally LOOK at the games I have installed) 47c to 60c and that's where the fans started kicking in and then surprisingly as soon as I closed origin the temp on the cpu went back down…
  • Update, uninstalled both Nitro sense and quick access and after 20 mins the fans started speeding up again even though I was only in steam trying to update a game. I still don't know if I should reset the battery or not. Does anyone else have any other suggestions before I do this? anything is appreciated as I am very…
  • Just an update, I'm going to uninstall Nitro sense and quick access and then run it for a day like that, if these applications were the source of the problem will I still be able to reinstall them or not? However if they aren't the source of the problem I will then proceed to reset my battery. If that still doesn't solve…

When I turn it on later I'll try reseting the battery but what does that…
  • I'm having the exact same problem except my temps are completely fine, just randomly speeds up the fans for no reason and then stays there for a good 10 mins and then dies down again. If I want to play Minecraft for example I can't open anything else otherwise the fans shoot up again. was working fine but all of a sudden…
  • Thanks for the reply but what I'm saying is I only use cool boost as a way to slow the fans down which only involves cool boost being on for 2 seconds. Anyone else have any suggestions?
