  • A couple of things to think about, the XR34 is Freesync and not GSync. And the XR34 is 75hz and can not be overclocked. The one benefit of the wait is that hopefully Acer clears up some of the issues they are having with some of the monitors

  • It is available but hard to find as it keeps selling out. Best bet is to setup up an alert for the Predator X34 here - http://www.nowinstock.net/computers/monitors/acer/ and even setup notifications on the resellers site (ie Newegg and Amazon)
  • No, you could not. The G3-605 only has 1 x16 PCI-E slot. You could upgrade the video card to say a 980 ti but You'd probably have to replace the power supply as that thing only have 500w PSU.
  • I don't have this issue. I just tested it with Valley Benchmark. Was running at 100 hz. Shut off the montior and back on, started valley and it was still 100 hz.   • Yes, have had no issues. I was playing Bioshock Infinite at 3440x1440 on ultra with audio playing on the displayport cable to the X34 with no issues.
