  • Did the BIOS update fix the problem? I have the same issue. See post "Aspire R14 touchscreen problem" for more folks with the same issue!
  • Everything was fine with the new battery and then I got down to 84% and decided to try charging....WHAM, it's back!! All sorts of dots on the screen (I call "puddling" since its like watching rain in a puddle). *****.
  • This issue has been driving me crazy too long. Fingers, toes all crossed and I'd make a sacrifice to the Tech Gods if I knew what would fix it.... I'll post after I've gone through a few battery charge cycles. Good luck to you.
  • Alenzie, My new replacement battery is fully charged at 100% and the problem is not happening :open_mouth: Usually when I charged my old battery it would happen when it hit 100% every single time....so I haven't seen it happen yet. I wonder if it's just a bad battery that is causing the surges that I suspect are happening…
