Already tried this. They’re already up to date. I used the control panel, using the internet option. 

Hello! I’m using Windows 10 and my pc is the PH317-52-77Y4 model. 

It’s not really disturbing me but still feels weird when it happens. I’ve only noticed this happening in TF2. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I mean after spending 1500€ on a computer I feel like I should be able to play without contraints like this.. 

Hey man I noticed that when playing team fortress 2, my frame rate often dropped down to less than 60 and that i had less frames than when playing without any tweaks. Is this normal?

Alright well i played without tweaks again and the difference is definitely there. Not an enourmous one but one that reduces the heat to manageable temps. Without tweaks and with coolboost on, i got 85-90, and with your tweaks and coolboost, i got 80-85 and max heat was 87 (short spike). I feel like this is really good…

Checked again once the laptop had cooled down (played for a while+hot room=higher temps). I got 80-85 C (sometimes 79). I'll make another test without tweaks to get a better idea of the difference.

Alright so I played several matches of R6 to test things (id say around 4-5). My last one was with your settings and coolboost and I got around 85-90 and I sometimes dipped under 85 because of coolboost. Now these temps are both kind of alarming and also the ones i usually get when playing without any tweaks and coolboost…

I tried your tweaks and, well, I don’t know. Disabling turbo boost slightly reduces my frame rate but immensely reduced the heat. Your tweaks let me keep my frame rate but didn’t reduce the heat as much. I’d say yours reduces heat by around 10 C and mine by 20. I think I’m still going to keep yours and activate coolboost…

Disabling turbo is killing the beast?? How? I don’t have any other solutions than this, the heat is too much. I don’t want to send it back, I can’t repasse or undervolt as both might void warranty (I bought a 3 year warranty, that’d be stupid). It doesn’t go that high, it reaches 70% on my most demanding game right now,…

i was playing the solo missions of R6 and my cpu temp was at 85-89 and sometimes went above 90 for a few secs only to drop down to 80 and start over. U sure this is normal?

so uh is this an issue i should address? could it become something more serious?

I’m going to try using custom fan speed, see if it disappears as well. Are you sure this won’t harm the battery? I’m worried.

No I cannot hear it in a recording because of other sounds that are amplified and drown out the issue. What would be the point of a battery reset? Not to be rude but I don’t see the point 

Yes i can hear it indoors and im not exactly sure but i think it’s coming from the right side of the computer where the USB ports are.

What do you mean? If you mean you can hear it in a house then yes but I don’t know about outside

I would’ve but the video has plenty of other sounds (that i could only hear through the videos) that make it completely inaudible
